• Backtested results are hypothetical and do not reflect actual trading. They are subject to inherent limitations including survivorship bias, look-ahead bias, and overfitting.
• Out-of-sample and walk-forward results reduce but do not eliminate the risk of overfitted strategies.
• Market conditions change. A strategy that has performed well historically may fail to perform in future market environments.
• Execution slippage, commissions, liquidity constraints, and technology failures can materially impact real-world performance versus backtested results.
• Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. Leveraged trading can result in losses exceeding your initial deposit.
• Regulatory changes, brokerage restrictions, or exchange halts may affect the ability to execute strategies at any time.

› Performance Metrics & Validation Methodology

Apex Executions applies multi-layered quantitative validation — including Deflated Sharpe Ratio (DSR), Probability of Backtest Overfit (PBO), Walk-Forward Validation, Block Bootstrap resampling, Combinatorially Purged Cross-Validation (CPCV), Monte Carlo simulation, and Kelly Criterion position sizing — to evaluate strategy performance. These methodologies are designed to reduce the risk of reporting inflated or overfitted results.

However, no validation methodology eliminates all model risk. All metrics displayed on the Platform are based on historical data and statistical models. They reflect performance under the data and market conditions available at the time of evaluation and do not guarantee future performance under different conditions.

Rankings displayed on the leaderboard are generated algorithmically based on composite scoring of validated metrics. Rankings should not be interpreted as endorsements or recommendations of any specific strategy.

› No Warranty

The Platform and all content, data, tools, and services provided herein are offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Apex Executions expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, and non-infringement.

Apex Executions does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Data may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable at any time due to technical or other factors beyond our control.

› Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apex Executions and its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or any content, strategy, ranking, metric, or information provided herein — including without limitation trading losses, lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption — even if Apex Executions has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

› Third-Party Data & Services

The Platform may incorporate data from third-party providers including but not limited to market data vendors, financial data APIs, and brokerage connectivity services. Apex Executions makes no representations regarding the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of third-party data. Apex Executions is not responsible for third-party data errors or interruptions.

› Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, design elements, strategy validation methodology descriptions, software, and user interface design, is the exclusive property of Apex Executions and is protected by copyright, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any content from this Platform without prior written permission from Apex Executions.

These terms and all matters relating to the Platform shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from or relating to the use of this Platform shall be subject to binding arbitration in lieu of litigation, except where prohibited by law.
